Shampoo - Trouble

The duo band Shampoo consist of Jacqui Blake and Carrie Askew, who has met since their teenage years. Their song, "Trouble" became famous when it was included in the sountrack of Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers: The Movie. However, their popularity when down in 1995 after they released their second album, "Girl Power." You can dance and sing the song here.

EMF - Unbelievable

EMF are a British indie dance band that came to prominence at the end of the 1980s and the early 1990s. The name "EMF" officially stands for "Epsom Mad Funkers." I only knew about this one song. I don't know if there are any album/song other than this "Unbelievable," which lyric can be read here.

Sonia - You'll Never Stop Me Loving You

This song was from the era of Kylie Minogue's first song, and the song reflected the way most pop dance song were back then. Actually, according to Wiki, this song is probably the only one from Sonia that reached Billboard Chart. Sing the song here.

A-ha - Take On Me

Now this is a great song. A classic one by Norwegian group band, A-ha. The video is also awesome, since most of the video has rotosoping animation. I loved it when the first time this video aired in MTV. It was a great and rare kind of animation back then. Check out the lyric here.

Enigma - Return To Innocence

"Return to Innocence" is a 1994 song created by the musical group Enigma. The single was the first from their chart-topping second album, "The Cross of Changes." Just as the title said, the video itself was moving backwards, giving symbolic meaning of return to where it was supposed to be. It's really a nice ambient and new wave song. Kon Kan - Harry Houdini

Ever heard of Kon Kan? I'm sure you haven't. This duet produced new wave synthpop with great singles such as "I Beg Your Pardon" and "Harry Houdini." They was popular back then in 1989. I remembered seeing their video clips played often in local television station. I even still have their album, "Move to Move."
