Cranberries was one of my long time favorite group. The singer, Dolores O'Riordan has a very unique voice that I don't think can't be compared to anyone. Cranberries's video was sometimes unique, and sometimes a bit scary, just like this single, "Salvation," which was taken from their third album, "To The Faithful Departed" in 1996. Stone Temple Pilots - Interstate Love Song

The song "Heaven Is A Place On Earth" and "Leave A Light On" were the best hit single coming from her. However, this "In Too Deep" song, though was not a big hit, has deep meaning in the lyric. And also has a nice tune.

A really really lovely song from Madonna. "Dear Jessie" has a nice soft tune accompanied with cute animation video. The song was taken from "Like A Prayer" album in 1989. I personally loved this song more than the rest of her "Like A Prayer" album. The song has cute lyrics and it seems that the song is really intended to a young girl.

The song was later covered (in an ugly way) by Rollergirl, who use the song's tune to make a new techno song. Waay ugly, in my opinion.

The song called "Voices That Care" was intended to help boost the morale of U.S. troops involved in Operation Desert Storm, as well as supporting the International Red Cross organization. Before singing the song "Naked And Sacred" which was the soundtrack of the movie "Striptease," Chynna Phillips was one of the member of female singers Wilson Phillips. This song was also featured in her solo album called "I Live For You" that was published in 1995. I still remembered the song's tune until now. It's quite a memorable song.

Her song "Show Me Heaven", which appeared on the soundtrack to the film, "Days of Thunder," was a number one single in the United Kingdom for four weeks in 1990. I still love this song, even though it was played way back in 1983. Bonnie Tyler's voice was really great and suited with the song. Many singers have tried to cover this song, though I don't think they're really not as good as Bonnie's. It just seems something different with the way Bonnie's singing it. Hmm, I wonder where she is now?

Nancy Wilson, one of the singer of Heart, went solo on 1989 with "All For Love" single. The song was a soundtrack for movie "Say Anything" featuring John Cusack. The Immortals - Techno Syndrome

I actually don't really like techno music. However, since this song is played over and over again when I watched the not-too-sucks Mortal Kombat Movie 1 and 2, it began to sounds interesting. The theme song was mixed by The Immortals. This "Techno Syndrome" song was then included in "Mortal Kombat: The Album" released in 1994 to accompany the home versions of the video game Mortal Kombat. Anyway, I can't believe I found the lyric of this theme, since there are limited words and are repeated over and over.

Gorky Park - Bang

Gorky Park (international title) or "Парк Горького" (Russian title) was a Soviet (later Russian) glam metal band, that gained mainstream popularity in USA during the Perestroyka times. Gorky Park is famous for its kitsch use of western stereotypes of Russians, such as pseudo-traditional clothing, balalaika-like guitar design and Hammer and sickle as their logo. "Return to Innocence" is a 1994 song created by the musical group Enigma. The single was the first from their chart-topping second album, "The Cross of Changes." Just as the title said, the video itself was moving backwards, giving symbolic meaning of return to where it was supposed to be. It's really a nice ambient and new wave song. You probably know Enya, the singer who recently fill most of the soundtracks of "Lord of the Rings" trilogy. Back in 1992, she also has a soundtrack song made for the movie "Far and Away." Ever heard of Kon Kan? I'm sure you haven't. This duet produced new wave synthpop with great singles such as "I Beg Your Pardon" and "Harry Houdini." They was popular back then in 1989. I remembered seeing their video clips played often in local television station. I even still have their album, "Move to Move." Bangles was a group of 4 women with leading hot singer, Susanna Hoffs. The group was famous back in the middle 80's. One of the group's hit that was covered by other artists again and again was "Eternal Flame." However, in the same album, there's also a full beat song that I still like to hear again and again. Welcome to another one of my vast amount of blogs. This blog will focus on music video clips, especially the classic ones from the 80's and 90's.

I began to listen to old songs again, since a radio from my city airing classic pop and rock songs from the 80's. I knew that I had to start to look for the video clips in YouTube. What do you know? YouTube actually has the complete music video library I've ever seen.

Now in this blog, will embed those videos, especially ones that I'd enjoyed the most. Hah, it's good remembering the good old times.
