Garbage - When I Grow Up

Garbage has quite extensive pop rock song. Some of them has quite weird tunes, but some of them was very expressive. One of my favorite was "When I Grow Up" taken from their "Version 2.0" album in 1998. The song was also the theme of Big Daddy soundtrack. Find the song's lyric here.

The song has many live version in YouTube. One of them is here, taken from MTV Live.

There's also another excellent live version. I don't know from where, but it's a great one.

Cardigans - My Favourite Game

The Cardigans's video of one of their single, "My Favorite Game," was very brutal so that it needs to be censored when played on national television. The song was taken from their fourth studio album, Gran Turismo. You can find the lyric here. The video below is the uncensored video, so be sure your kids don't see this.

Cranberries - Salvation

Cranberries was one of my long time favorite group. The singer, Dolores O'Riordan has a very unique voice that I don't think can't be compared to anyone. Cranberries's video was sometimes unique, and sometimes a bit scary, just like this single, "Salvation," which was taken from their third album, "To The Faithful Departed" in 1996. You can find the lyric here.

There are lots of Cranberries's "Salvation" live concert video. One of them is here.

Stone Temple Pilots - Interstate Love Song

Stone Temple Pilots published their second album, "Purple" in 1994. The album debuted with "Interstate Love Song" single, which quickly became a big hit. Other hits from the album included "Vasoline" and "Big Empty." Sing it along with this funny (weird) video.

Mr Big - To Be With You

One of best classic rock ever, Mr. Big with their greatest hit song "To Be With You." The song appears on the album Lean into It. "To Be With You" is about a man who has his eye on a well liked woman, but she is taken by another man who is mean to her. Check its lyric here.

Check also this video, live version from Mr. Big's concert in Japan, 1991.

Tesla - Love Song

"Love Song" was a power ballad sang by Tesla. The song was taken from the album "The Great Radio Controversy," released in 1989. When the video was placed in heavy rotation on MTV, the song rocketed to #10 in the U.S. charts, becoming one of the group's biggest hits.

The music video was filmed in the bands home town of Sacramento at the former Cal Expo amphitheater. Old 93 Rock banners can be seen hanging in the back ground. Check the song's lyric here.

Shampoo - Trouble

The duo band Shampoo consist of Jacqui Blake and Carrie Askew, who has met since their teenage years. Their song, "Trouble" became famous when it was included in the sountrack of Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers: The Movie. However, their popularity when down in 1995 after they released their second album, "Girl Power." You can dance and sing the song here.

The original video clip is here.

Vitamin C - As Long As You're Loving Me

One of my favorite artist, Vitamin C (her real name is Colleen Ann Fitzpatrick ). "As Long As You're Loving Me" is a single by Vitamin C released in 2001. This song speaks on Vitamin C's addiction to her fellow mate. This was the second and final single from More. The song was also featured on See Spot Run movie. Sing it here.

Frente - Accidentally Kelly Street

Frente! was an Australian alternative pop/rock group, formed in 1991. Frente! burst onto the Australian music charts with the singles "Ordinary Angels" and "Accidently Kelly Street" in 1992. The group was quite unique with their video clip performances. Sing with the lyric here.

Enya - Orinoco Flow

Personally I love the graphic effects of this classic video. Enya's song was also great. "Orinoco Flow" is a 1988 UK #1 single by Enya. The song is often incorrectly referred to as "Sail Away", a phrase repeated during the chorus. The American version of the single, however, was retitled "Orinoco Flow (Sail Away)". Check the lyric here.

Enya also performed 'Orinoco Flow' live at Top of the Pops, broadcast in 1988.

Kylie Minogue & Jason Donovan - Especially For You

These duo was very popular in the 80s. Kylie was still famous now, though Jason was never heard again. The song "Especially For You" was quite special, and was still played on local radios. Though I wonder, why is there no one recycle or make cover of this classic song? Sing it here.

There are lots of live performance of this song. One of them is this.

The recent live performance was when Kylie sang it with Kermit The Frog.

Celine Dion-Where Does My Heart Beat Now

I think it's the first song of Celine Dion when she goes internationally. The song was really powerful, I still fond of this classic song. "Where Does My Heart Beat Now" is a hit song from Celine Dion's English debut album called Unison. It was released as the first single in the United States. Also, check its lyric here.

There's also her live performance from Super Dave Show in 1991.
